2D Space Game Prototype

A small prototype for a 2D space exploration game. Contains a center planet (acting as the 'sun' of the solar system), an orbiting planet and an orbiting moon. Each body has it's own gravity, indicated by HUD icons and text.

CONTROLS

• Player
  • Move: A/S, Left stick
  • Jump: Space, (A)
• Rocket
  • Thrust: W, Right trigger
  • Rotate: A/S, Left stick
• Map
  • Move: W/A/S/D, Left stick
  • Zoom: Scroll, Right stick
  • Center on player: Space, (A)
• Other
  • Enter/exit rocket: F, (Y)
  • Toggle map: M, Share

FUTURE PLANS

• More surface objects other than just trees
• Different surface objects for different planets
• Unique generation, e.g. water planet, desert planet, forest planet etc.
• Hostile and passive entities unique to certain planets
• Resource gathering
• Story progression
• Many more planets/moons
